We missed the 2 rehearsals but no worries, because currently 4423 places are still available because only 5177 have signed up.

Thursday, 9 August 2007, 5pm to 7.30pm at the Padang

Highlights:
1) Free National Day Celebrations Fun Pack and limited edition "I was part of the largest human Singapore flag" umbrellas.
2) Be entertained by aeromodel flying demonstrations and exciting stage performances.
3) Form the largest human Singapore Flag and celebrate National Day with fellow Singaporeans and guest-of-honour NTUC Secretary-General and Minister (Prime Minister's Office) Mr Lim Swee Say.
4) Enjoy the NDP and its pre-show segment 'live' on large LED screens.

Please note that all participants should be aged 13 years and above and be healthy/fit enough to help form their portion of the national flag by holding up a large umbrella on their own, as well as to be out on the field for at least two hours.

I don't think that we'll be standing there holding the umbrella for 2 hours lah... i think the 2 hours include watching the performances and rehearsals. We should only be holding the umbrella throughout the national anthem and the pledge. If everyone of us can stand every morning tolisten to the national anthem and the pledge and.. erm... Mrs. Lim lecturing us telling us that we as TKGians should be punctual for morning assembly, surely we can do that holding an UMBRELLA!
